Toon-toons

One can of tuna and five cats.

Oh, wait. Missing a cat...here comes Orangey now!

The clamor rises as I begin to portion out the dishes. Smunchy is the loudest.

I push the last dish to the orange cat. He likes to pretend he isn’t interested.

Ah, the happy sound of five tongues lapping.

Kitties! So cute! How do you keep them off the counter while you're doling out portions? My two boy kitties take turns trying to get at their bowls from each side of me. As soon as I put one back down on the floor, the other has jumped back up. I can manage with the two, but five!?

Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of the night we adopted our boys. I'm celebrating all week by putting up a new kitty-antics post each night. You might get a kick out of some of them. It's happening on my tequilatrek blog (not about searching for shots in Mexico, I swear), not on my wannabe fashion blog.

They've learned that they only get tuna on the floor, so they seldom try to jump on the counter. If they do jump up there, I just move them to the floor. If they are especially persistent, I found that the spray nozzle on the sink is very effective.

I love how insane this post makes you look. I aspire to be a very well-dressed cat lady someday, like you. (genuine remarks)

My dog wouldn't know which one to chase first. She's just a little pup but has it in her somewhere 'must chase cats'. I wished she remained friendly to all creatures but what can you do.
